Sugar Daddy (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Sugar Daddy Patron[edit]
Warlock Subclass
Sometimes an otherworldly patron grows tired of its current warlock companion(s) and desires a more appreciative "special friend". Graciously providing rewards and favors, the Sugar Daddy Patron enjoys your company for as long as you return the service. Eventually, it will move on to other newer admirers, but the gifts it has given will last you a lifetime of reflection.
Expanded Spell List[edit]
The Sugar Daddy lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
Spell Level | Spells |
---|---|
1st | command, grease |
2nd | magic mouth, silence |
3rd | bestow curse, tongues |
4th | black tentacles, polymorph |
5th | modify memory, planar binding |
Familiar Territory[edit]
Beginning at 1st level, due to your extensive practice with being prone and restrained, you no longer grant advantage to attackers while under these conditions, nor do you attack with disadvantage.
Material Affection[edit]
At 6th level, your Sugar Daddy patron gives you a piece of jewelry valued at 1000 gold pieces. Your Daddy also gives you an uncommon magic item, such as a Pearl of Power.
By 6th level, you've become quite accustomed to receiving gifts and holding on to them. From now on, the maximum number of items you can be attuned to at once is three or your Charisma modifier, whichever is higher.
Maturing Realization[edit]
Starting at 10th level, because you are not the only Warlock your Sugar Daddy is patron to, you have become immune to diseases. Learning that you are less special than you once believed has left you with new understanding; you are now also immune to being charmed.
Parting Gift[edit]
At 14th level, your patron gives you two very rare magic items, for example a Ring of Regeneration and an Amulet of the Planes. While your patron is still reachable, they are confident you will finish your Warlock training without them, and only acknowledge you awkwardly in passing.
