If the styracosaurus moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the styracosaurus can make one stomp attack against it as a bonus action.

Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 6) piercing damage.

Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one prone creature. Hit: 19 (3d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

REACTIONS

Frill Defense. When hit by a ranged weapon attack, the styracosaurus gains a +2 bonus to AC against that attack.

Styracosaurus was a plant-eating dinosaur that lived about 75 million years ago. It walked on four legs and was about the size of a car. It had a big bony frill on the back of its head with long spikes sticking out, and a large horn on its nose. Its body was strong and covered in thick skin. Styracosaurus lived in what is now Canada, in grassy, forested areas. It likely moved in herds and ate low-growing plants like ferns. Its main predators were large meat-eating dinosaurs like albertosaurus and possibly gorgosaurus, both relatives of tyrannosaurus rex. These predators would have targeted young or weak individuals in a herd.
