The Striscia is effectively a slightly longer rapier, featuring a complex protective hilt and a blade length of around 100 cm, balanced close to the hilt. Historically, the Striscia was the typical sword wielded by musketeers and swashbuklers in the 17th century. The entire construction is quite thin, but the considerable blade lenght make this sword hard to use properly without special training; thus, it is an exotic weapon.
Much like a Rapier, you can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a Striscia sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you. You can’t wield a Striscia in two hands in order to apply 1-1/2 times your Strength bonus to damage.

Feats and abilities which effect Rapier also effect Striscia.
