Abilities[edit]

Storm Aura[edit]

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain special abilities powered by SURGE die.

You gain a number of SURGE die equal to half your fighter levels rounded up.

While you have SURGE die remaining, a Storm Aura forms around you in a 5 foot radius, granting you the following benefits and additional benefits as you take levels in this class. If you expend all your SURGE die your Charged Aura becomes inactive and you lose all benefits from it being active.

As a bonus action on your turn you can expend a hit die to regain one SURGE die.

While your Storm Aura is active you gain an additional 5 feet walking speed and your jump distance is doubled. Additionally, when you miss with a melee attack you can expend one SURGE die and deal damage equal to its roll to the target.

Into the Storm[edit]

At 7th level your Charged Aura radius extends to 10 feet. Weapon attacks you make within your aura have their damage converted to lightning damage. If an enemy within your aura has immunity or resistance to lightning damage it drops to resistance and neutral respectively.

You can also attack any enemy within your aura as if they were in melee range of you. If you attack a creature in this way you expend a SURGE die for each attack made this way. Attacks made this way have their damage converted to lightning damage.

Static Shock[edit]

At 10th level, while your aura is active and an enemy hits you with a weapon attack you can expend one SURGE die to deal lightning damage to them.

Jump Start[edit]

At 15th level, you gain resistance to lightning damage while your Storm Aura is active and while your Storm Aura is not active and you are hit with an attack that deals lightning damage to you, you one gain one SURGE die and your aura is restored. You also regain one SURGE die when you use the Second Wind feature.

Additionally your Storm Aura increases to a 15 foot radius.

Resistive Aura[edit]

At 18th level, while your aura is active damage done to you is reduced by one SURGE die without expending the die.

Extended Strike

You can SURGE your weapon attacks at the cost of one CAPACITANCE point to to grant them 15 feet of range and converting all damage to lightning damage.
