Starblessed (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Star Redheads[edit]
The starblessed are really alike humans, with some notable characteristics. Their skin is as white as a star, it even irradiates a little. Their hair is fiery, almost like if they were redhead, but with flames instead of hair. Their eyes have two pupils each, one centered and one in the corner. one of the pupils obligatorily yellow, and the other one can range to all visible colors. They are warm to the touch, and their teeth never rot. Their blood is red but, much like their hair, it has a fiery tone to it. Neutron starblesseds do not irradiate but they still keep their colors.
Star Shards[edit]
It all started when a Star exploded. Within that star was a fragment know as "Bless" that could make one a part of the cosmos. That fragment fell into one of the many planets colonized by the human race, changing their biology forever. The star fused with their bodies, but they didn´t turn into cosmic aberrations. Instead, they just acquired some strange features. They became as hot as a star inside their bodies, being unfazed by heat or light, and they became innately adepts to magic. Although some of them burned their star energy and became neutron starblesseds, starblesseds do not explode like a normal star life-cycle, instead they die normally like humans. Their species changed due to their light, and so they gained an extra pair of pupils so that they can see better while in light. As said before, neutron starblesseds are burned, this happens due to a magical overheat that turs all of their magic into muscle, granting them a calmer demeanor and control over their gravity.
Many rulers came[edit]
The starblessed were a colony of humans in another planet, so their society was like a human one. Many great rulers are seen in their history, most of them were magical starblesseds, although some neutron starblesseds once ruled over them. Although, all of that is history, their rulers are nothing more but mere words now. After some time, a witch called Cuprum found a way to absorb stars and use their power as magic. With that, she took control of the starblessed and made all of them trained soldiers and colonizers, thus starting the starblessed empire. Many disliked her, but she didn´t care at all, after all she was stronger than all of them combined. Some starblessed fled to other planets hoping some day they could strike her off the throne. Cuprum, however, is not evil. She´s just a visionary, trying to get the better of her people, even if they hate her. She´s naïve and doesn´t know other ways, so she did things the only way she knew. Of course, no starblessed know this, so they are in a forever state of desire of freedom.
Starblessed Names[edit]
Starblesseds have a strange name array. While females have metallic names, males have some more cosmic-sounding names.

Female: Aureus, Cuprum, Ferrous, Argentum.
Starblessed Traits[edit]
Stars given human form, and human desires
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Age. Starblesseds have one of the longest lifespans out of all mortals. They mature with 18 years old and live as much stars do.
Alignment. Starblesseds are, much like humans, flexible. They have all types of desires and fears, and a huge variety of alignments.
Size. Besides some features, you are indeed a human. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Star Resilience. You have the resistance of a star. You are resistant to radiant and fire damage, and you have advantage on saving throws against being blinded.
Innate Spellcasting. You know the light cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the divine favor spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the daylight spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells again with this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Mercy of the Stars. When you touch a creature, you can remove its poisoned condition, if any. Alternatively, you can touch a creature with 0 hit points and have it regain 1 hitpoint. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Starsign, the language made out of the starry sky of their home planet. It sounds like a clash of fire and light when spoken, if that makes any sense for a spoken language to have visual effects.
Race Variant: Neutron Starblessed[edit]
Neutron Starblesseds are the burned up people from the starblessed. Although they aren´t as magically powerful as before, they now are way more physically stronger, serving as guards and soldiers for the starblessed people. Although they are more powerful physically, they are calmer than their burning counterparts, and usually tend to procrastinate.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Neutron Tranquility. You are calm, this makes you control your gravity and mind. You are resistant to force damage, and you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed and frightened.
Sheer Power. You have advantage on all Strength and Constitution saving throws against magic.
Calm Mind. When you touch a creature, you can remove its charmed, frightened or unconcious condition, provided they are not at 0 hit points or dying. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
