Spider Climb. The spidersnake can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The spidersnake makes two melee attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) piercing damage plus 5 (1d10) poison damage.

Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: The target is grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the spidersnake can't constrict another target.

Swallow. The spidersnake makes one bite attack against a Medium or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the spidersnake, and it takes 10 (3d6) acid damage at the start of each of the spidersnake's turns. The spidersnake can have only one target swallowed at a time.
If the spidersnake takes 20 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the spidersnake must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate the swallowed creature, which falls prone in a space within 10 feet of the spidersnake. If the spidersnake dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 5 feet of movement, exiting prone.

Poison Web (Recharge 5-6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 20/40 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).
At the start of each of its turns, a restrained creature must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) poison damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a success.

The spidersnake is an unholy mixture of massive spider and venomous snake. It has the body of a massive constrictor with a tarantula in place of a head, and segmented jaws that open to reveal large pairs of fangs dripping with venom. They live primarily in tropical areas, using the arboreal environment to their advantage to ambush prey or escape more powerful opponents.
Although usually solitary, some spidersnakes may work as guards or enforces for more powerful evil beings who provide them with regular prey. They are fully aware of the effect their monstrous appearance has on most other beings, and may use it to their advantage to bully others into doing their bidding.
