When the great old dragons' eggs hatched inside where three things, the ancient dragons of now, the first dragon born, and their forgotten third, spherans named for their mother the mother of the great old ones

Spherans are humanoid creatures with jagged colorful horns of varying shapes and sizes, sometimes long, sometimes curly, even just little numbs. they also have soft pointy ears like a mix between an elf and a lamb. Unlike their dragonborn brethren though they appear mostly to be human, with a human torso arms, but their hands end in clawed nails that match the color of their horns. Spheran share many traits with their great old ones parents, with draconic legs and tails, their scales often matching the tribe their from and spikes and claws matching their horns and nails. their horns and spikes can range many colors, from blue to silver, bronze, and the usual dragon colors. (including whats in Fitzban's treasury of dragons) very rarley though do spherans have wings, once every 100 years after the death of an elder, a Spheran with wings is born, a destined noble leader for the tribe.

The spherans are an ancient race just as the Dragonborn are, they walked this world with the greater of society until just like dragonborn they had become just as exceedingly rare. retreating to secluded villages across the planes and world, often floating sky islands high above the world, deep caverns far beneath it, wooded thickets so deep and hidden in the woods that some druids are the only ones privy to its existence.

Spherans have been worshiping their great ancient dragons for millennia, from honorable gold dragons to cunning and mysterious green dragons. from building vast stone temples to small wooded shrines, the spherans pay homage to their ancestors through prayer and offerings. once every hundred years a spheran is born with wings, they are destined to become the next leader of the spheran tribe, and continue the tradition of worshipping the ancient dragons.

Spherans live across the worlds, many of which in the Material Plane in hidden secretive societies. When outside of their village spherans are not permitted to share more than just their name with outsiders, they must remain cloaked and nearly anonymous to protect themselves and their tribe, often when spherans do leave their secluded villages it is to seek help from outsiders or adventurers.

Inside their villages though they have a very colorful and interactive society, festivals of color and wonder, wearing long flowing dresses and robes, with intricately woven textiles that are often sold to trusted companions of the village so that they can make money, their society doesn't have strict rules inside of the village, often a show kindness and you will receive kindness kind of deal, but outside of their villages were they were hunted and murdered for their magical valuable horns so the spherans are forced to hide their identities with long cloaks, masks, and gloves. To protect their villages, if they're captured they are forbidden to speak of their villages to anyone else.
