Elf Subrace[edit]

Elves are well known for being able to live just about anywhere, but what happens when a group of elves decides to take camp in a desert fueled by wild magic? Surprisingly, the answer is not as mystical as you would imagine. Instead, spellburnt elves are by all measures tall, dark, and brutal. With skin covered in deep desert burns and a stature challenging orcs, these elves have been horribly shifted by a magical force, leaving behind their minds and fey ancestry in return for a large hunchback and huge power.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1 and your Intelligence decreases by 1.
Brute Force. When making an ability check or saving throw that isn’t Strength-based, after rolling the dice but before the results are determined, you can choose to add your Strength modifier to the roll as well. You can use this ability once, regaining use after you finish a short or long rest.
Sandburnt. You have skin heavily burnt and developed to handle heat. You have resistance to fire damage and gain a +1 bonus to AC when not wearing any armor.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
