Despite looking to be in his early teens, Schrödinger is actually over 90 years old, holding the rank of Warrant Officer in Millennium. Easy to kill, but almost impossible to keep dead, he was created by the Professor under order of the Major out of biological material most likely from the Captain. As such, Schrödinger is an artificial werewolf, or more accurately a werecat. Similar to the Major's love of all forms of war, including loss; Schrödinger is lighthearted and joyful in all matters, including the deaths of his comrades. His powers originate from his unstable physical nature, as he only exists so long as he is aware of himself, thus if he is aware of himself in a way that he is not, he simply will become the new state, even to the lengths of being able to believe he is alive while dead. In his final moments during World War 3, he beheaded himself with a smile on his face using a small knife before hurling his lifeless body into the sea of blood being absorbed by Alucard. Absorbing his essence, Alucard lost himself for 30 years before becoming almost completely unkillable due to being able to utilize the full extent of his newly acquired powers. Heads or Tails. If Schrödinger's soul becomes part of a creature, such as through completely absorbing the life essence of a willing or unconscious creature with the Blood Drain feature, they gain his Impermanence feature. If this creature has any souls inhabiting their body other than Schrodinger's and their own, such as through delaying consuming a creature's life essence with We slaughter our enemies and sacrifice all our allies, they are thrown into a pocket dimension where only they exist until their only souls are Schrödinger's and their own. |
