Berserk. Whenever the spawn starts its turn with 40 hit points or fewer, roll a d6. On a 6, the spawn goes berserk. On each of its turns while berserk, the spawn attacks the nearest creature it can see. If no creature is near enough to move to and attack, the spawn attacks an object, with preference for an object smaller than itself. Once the spawn goes berserk, it continues to do so until it is destroyed or regains all its hit points.

Magic Weapons. The spawn's weapon attacks are magical.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The spawn makes three attacks: one with its ball and chain and two with its fists.

Ball and Chain. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d12 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage and the target is grappled (escape DC 16). The spawn has four free hands, each of which can only grapple one target.


Massive and six-armed, these giants are spawned to serve as the shock forces for the evil legions of Gia. They are also referred to as earth children.
