Keen Hearing and Smell. The spawn has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Death Throes. When the spawn dies, it explodes and each creature within 10 feet of it must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The explosion ignites flammable objects in that area that aren't being worn or carried.

Burning Aura. A creature that touches the spawn or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 5 (1d10) fire damage.

Spider Climb. The spawn and each hell hound within 50 feet of it can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The spawn makes three bite attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.

Fire Breath (Recharge 4-6). The spawn exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The spawn of Cerberus, also known as the scion of Cerberus, is a chosen hell hound granted great powers from the dark lord of hell hounds, Cerberus. They are known to have three horned heads that are capable of ripping enemies to shreds within moments. The beasts range in color from a dark crimson, ebon black to sometimes a pale ashy white but other strange colors like magentas and violets have been seen before.
Powerful and wicked sorcerers and warlocks enjoy summoning these beasts for the havoc they can cause during their death throes and in combat.
