Sorcerer Tides of Chaos, Variant (5e Class Feature)

Tides of Chaos[edit]
Instead of DM adjunct for when Tides of Chaos triggers, the following options can be used to decide when the feature triggers:
- Immediately after you cast a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, the player rolls a d20. If the player rolls a 20, roll on the Wild Magic Surge table.
- Choose a die type (d4,d6,d8). After a player uses Tides of Chaos, the DM rolls the die chosen. The result is the number of sorcerer spells 1st level or higher the player must cast before they can roll on the Wild Magic Surge table.
