Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 17). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained. The ultamite has two claws, each of which can grapple only one target.


The smasher ultamite is a rare mutation of an ultamite which lacks a scorpion tail, but instead has a pair of massive claws like those of a crab and a tough ruddy brown carapace. Smasher ultamites are smaller and slower than standard ultamites, but they make up for it with their extraordinary strength and durability. However, much like their larger cousins, smasher ultamites have an insatiable thirst for blood.
