ACTIONS

Spray (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). The skunk sprays musk at a creature within 10 feet of it. The target must make a DC 9 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target and is poisoned for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. A creature that doesn't need to breathe automatically succeeds on the saving throw.

Skunks are small mammals known for their ability to spray a liquid with a strong scent. They are omnivorous, seasonally feeding on roots, earthworms and berries. A skunk's spray is powerful enough to ward off bears and other potential attackers. Muscles located next to the scent glands allow them to spray with a high degree of accuracy, as far as 3 m (10 ft). The spray can also cause irritation and even temporary blindness, and is sufficiently powerful to be detected by a human nose up to 5.6 km (3.5 miles) downwind.
