Sizer[edit]

Five large men back a pointy-eared human down an alley. "Give us your money!" one of the Thugs said. Then the small man responds "I'd rather not." The five men watch in awe as the small man shrinks to the size of a bug and runs straight under them leaving them in confusion before slipping away behind a mouse hole.

Physical Description[edit]

Sizers look like half-elves with some notable differences such as multi-colored eyes or off-colored hair. They often wear Sizer Vestments, magical items made by their families or community's special clothes enchanted by the same size-changing magic that affects them which allows the clothes to shift size with them.

History[edit]

The Sizers are descendants of humans, elves, and magic. Once upon a time many centuries ago a Human wizard and elven doctor worked together to create a half-breed between their races that would get the Longevity and magical prowess of an elf while keeping the hardiness and adaptability of humans. This experiment would take years and thousands of trials before the first Sizers were born, a Pair of Twins known as Helio and Yuria. Helio was the first shrinking sizer while Yuria was the first growing sizer. In most homes, the name Helio and Yuria are talked about like an old family member or good friend and given thanks for everyday blessings.

Society[edit]

The Sizers lack a true society and mingle in human society due to their flexibility in both character and size. They live in small communities and will generally mix well with other niches. People will generally search out sizers for their unique biology. Growing sizers usually will be asked to help with construction, moving, and general labor task as well as being popular picks for bodyguards. However, shrinking sizers will be used for house labor, menial tasks, maids/ servants, and entertainers making positive impacts on those around them with their bright personalities.
