Sine tempore[edit]

Ok mods, this better? if not, let me know what to fix :]

DISCLAIMER(put here because I don't know if/how there's a stub for this): This was made as a Subrace for a campaign supplement/setting I am planning to make but am still working on(not on here yet because I want to get everything done first), I made this as something that could be used in both the setting I am making and a normal setting, though if used in a normal setting please consult your DM first

In the realm of the great wizard Gundar the Ageless, time does not work the same as other realms, not much does. Gundar's realm is its own plain of existence, where he controls almost everything. I, User Doctorbluethefifth, will eventually make Gundar's realm as a campaign setting, so I will just explain the realm more there. but one thing that I must say, is that in most realms there is a patch of land, about 5 meters by 5 meters that by walking though, if the realm senses you are of no danger, or are from the realm, will let you enter. But the citizens of Gundar's realm have a few great blessings from living in such a magical and timeless realm, such as much much slower ageing, stronger immune systems, and slight innate magical capability. While most citizens of the realm live nice peaceful lives, some chose to leave the realm and adventure, but they almost always keep doing whatever job they had in the realm, if they ran a store they would most likely buy a wagon and run the store from the back of said wagon. if they were a writer they would keep writing.

Universal Race Variant[edit]

this subrace can be applied to any race, including those which don't normally have subraces. If it is applied to a race that does have subraces, you must still pick another backround in addition to this one.

Ageless Traits[edit]

The Ageless of Gundar's realm are known for their calm demeanor, even if the original species is not, living usually up to five times their species usual age(though they could potentially live up to eight time the age, after six time the Ageless property's of the realm start to falter) and a seem to give off a air of calm and joy. The Ageless enjoy simple things, such as their job, playing music, gardening, and more.

Ability Score Increase. The magic of Gundar's realm have filled your very being, you have more heightened abilities than others not of Gundar's realm. One ability score of your choice increases by 2 and another by 1, or three of your choice increase by 1 each. Alternatively, you may choose a feat.

Ageless body. the max age of your character is increased by [max species age x 5] normally, [max species age x 6] for old, and [max species age x 7(or 8)] for elderly, you have advantage against poison damage and being poisoned, and due to your long living age you have advantage against psychic damage, but you have disadvantage against lightning, and suffer no I'll effects from tobacco or other smoking products(other then getting high)

Realm of magic. you have innate magic capability, able to summon a small flame to your finger with the snap of your finger, creating a small spark then the flame, the flame can be used to ignite objects and produces light, but causes no harm to you, this flame counts as a cantrip but does not count towards your known cantrips,(the people of Gundar's realm use this magic ability to great effect to light their tobacco pipes and cigars) along with this you can choose one other cantrip of your choice, this cantrip also does not count towards your know cantrips (it has been such a pain in the butt to get the image to work, I hope y'all readers are happy, also the image is temporary until I can draw something myself, though I do believe that because I am using it to show what the innate magic looks like it falls under fair use so we should be all good :] )

Darkvision you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions due to your life in Gundar's magic realm. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Traveler or hometown kid if you choose Traveler then your character is well traveled, whether its from exploring Gundar's realm or from venturing out into other realms, such as the Forgotten Realm, Eberon, or even ravenloft you have proficiency with athletics. if you chose hometown kid your character is on their first major adventure other than simple trade or tourism, but you have had plenty of time to read and have proficiency with history
