Sin of the Immortal[edit]

"I will never fall again!"

Physical Description[edit]

These beings are similar to humans, but, their abilities are visibly hidden, usually very thin, between 1.65 and 2.15 tall and unnatural dexterity and strength.

It is useless to decapitate them or rip out their hearts, they are unstoppable beings. But, sadly too much damage can usually drive them insane and self-loss. Their body will be immortal, but not their soul. An immortal remains immaculate in the most handsome age of his life and stops aging (if old he gets younger), but he is also denied by the gods and this will prevent him from following the path of the Paladins, Clerics and even the Warlock. Your appearance as a human could change just a few tricks. Hair color, eye shape or color, shape of teeth, particular tattoos on the body that may extend.

History[edit]

After a surreal and deadly journey you have reached the fountain of eternal youth, the forbidden fruit, the seed of the world or any other object or food that can grant you your dream, or rather, your nightmare. After becoming immortal, the joys of life very quickly became boring and meaningless. Pain may have gone to your head and you are either terrified or eager for it, you would do anything for pain that makes you feel truly alive, but if pain no longer meant anything to you, you would be very close to the end by now. The step to become empty is now near.

Society[edit]

You are seen as normal humans, probably your only peculiarity that will make you notice is the effect of the "fruit" of the turn that made you immortal.

Sin of the Immortal Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. A non-Constitution score of your choice increases by 2, after which it increases Constitution by 1.
Age. Choose which race is the starting one with the eventual maturity and mortality, but, in the end, exclude mortality, you have become immortal.
Alignment. Tending towards chaotic, but can also be of any other alignment.
Size. The height usually does not exceed 2.15 meters and this is due to the influence of the Immortal object of the turn. Your size is medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Despised by the Divine. The gods hate you, you are abominable beings that shouldn't exist. You cannot be Paladins, Clerics or Warlocks, since, every form of divine magic is denied to you and whoever tries to use it to heal you, heals you by half. (P.S. if you still want to take one of the mentioned classes you cannot use its magic, since it is not allowed to you)
Soul Synchronicity. Not being able to die, your body has a different way to "perish" namely, synchrony with your soul. Your hit points (HP) convert to soul points (SP). Your death saves become soul saves, so if you die you lose your soul and can no longer move, speak, attack, etc., you'll be a sack of empty flesh. You cannot be resurrected or reincarnated, the only thing that affects him to bring him back to life again would be Wish. Then apply the HP system normally, but, role-playing, you'll have another effect.
Never Separate Again (optional). If your limb is severed, burned, or mangled, you can regenerate it during a long rest, you can only regenerate one limb at a time, and the severed limb turns to dust and disappears.
Immaculate Will. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this trait, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Unyielding Energy. As an immortal you've learned to never give up even in the most desperate situations, as such you take exhaustion as one level lower and any form of energy points you have are tripled.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
