Silver Knight Conclave (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Silver Knight Conclave[edit]
The Silver Knight (The Hunter Order of the Coreanic Knights), is responsible for finding and dispatching the most nefarious enemies of the kingdom. This order ranges far and wide, and patrols the borders of the kingdom. When called to battle, the Hunters serve as outriders, protecting the flanks and searching out the enemy. In order to become a Silver Knight, one must first prove its valor. Usually the order require that the ranger hunt down and slay an evil undead, outsider or shapechanger of equivalent power as the knight prospect, without combat assistance, although some groups require different tests.
- Conclave Spells
You gain conclave spells at the ranger levels listed:
Ranger Level | Spells |
---|---|
3rd | protection from evil and good |
5th | see invisibility |
9th | magic circle |
13th | banishment |
17th | dispel evil and good |
- Smite
Starting at 3rd level, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can use your bonus action to cause additional radiant damage equal to 1d8, in addition to the weapon's damage.
You can expend one spell slot to deal additional radiant damage to the target. The extra damage is 1d8 for each spell level spent, to a maximum of 4d8 (in addition to the 1d8 base damage). The damage increases by 1d8 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 5d8.
- Virtue of Silver
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to use your Primeval Awareness feature to detect undead, shape-changers or fiends at will, without spending a spell slot. You must choose one of those types, and it lasts for 1 round, instead of 1 minute.
- Helm of Silver
Upon being accepted into the Order of Silver at 3rd level, the Silver Knight gains the signature item of the Order, the Helm of Silver. This Helm begins as a well worn and tarnished helm, but through his devotion to the Virtues of Honesty and Spirituality, it eventually becomes a brilliant helm of gleaming silver. While wearing this helmet, you gain proficiency in Wisdom (Insight), (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation), or double your proficiency if you are already proficient in those skills.
This helmet is useless to any creature other than the Silver Knight. If you ever lose the helmet or if the helmet is destroyed, the helmet will always find its way back to you. When you complete a long rest, you will find the helmet resting besides you.
- Awakened Helm of Silver
At 7th level, the helmet gives you a bonus equal to your proficiency bonus to saving throws against effects that require you to see the source of the effect, such as the gaze of a medusa or the charm of a vampire.
- Improved Smite
By 11th level, you are so suffused with righteous might that all your melee weapon strikes carry divine power with them. Whenever you hit a creature with a melee weapon, the creature takes an extra 1d8 radiant damage.
- Exalted Helm of Silver
At 15th level, when wearing the helm of silver, you can cast true seeing targeting yourself, without spending spell slots or requiring any components. Once you do so, you can't do it again until you finish a long rest.
