Legendary Shield Hero[edit]

A user gifted with indestructible defense at the expense of offensive power summoned to the world to help his fellow heroes survive the waves

The "Devil" of the Shield[edit]

You will find many people who thinks of you and the shield you carry as a bad side of the devil, it will test your patience to prove these people wrong and not let their views of the shield cause issues for you and your allies. Your durability will be tested as you fight in front to stop enemies from killing your allies.

Creating a Shield hero[edit]

Who does your Character see his position with your team? Is he the tank opening opportunity's for his allies to strike? Maybe

he protects he team through using all his power to kill all issues for his friends? Does he stale the Enemy for

his smarter and more destructive allies so he stops them in their tracks as his team goes and kills the commander?

Quick Build

To build a shield follow these suggestions, your highest stat will be constitution, second it should be followed by wisdom, then pick the Summoned Hero background

Class Features

As a Shield Hero you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d12 per Shield Hero level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 1d12 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d12 (or 7) + Constitution modifier per Shield Hero level after 1st

Proficiencies

Armor: All Armor, Shields
Weapons: None
Tools: 2 Tool Kits of your Choice
Saving Throws: Constitution, Wisdom
Skills: Choose two from Athletics, Animal Handling, Insight, Medicine, Perception, Survival, Intimidation, or Arcana.

Equipment

You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:

  • The Legendary Shield
  • (a) Common clothing or (b) Modern Day clothing(for characters who were Reincarnated)
  • (a) a dungeoneer’s pack or (b) an explorer’s pack
  • If you are using starting wealth, you have 4d10 x10 gp in funds.

Pain Nullification[edit]

To help the user of the shield hero fulfill their duty within the frontlines of battle the shield grants innate nullification to pain which helps the hero fight beyond their limits. Starting at first level at the start of each day at dawn you gain 1d6 +Level +Your Constitution Modifier (Min 1) Temporary Hitpoints. The damage die increases to 2d6 at 4th level, 3d6 at 8th level, 4d6 at 16th level, 5d6 at 20th level. You cannot gain Temporary Hitpoints from any other source until this amount of Hitpoints are spent.

Cardinal Hero[edit]

Multiclassing[edit]

Requirements There is no normal way to multiclass into the Shield hero or other Cardinal weapons, If the Dm Allows the requirements are 15 Wisdom and 13 Constitution

Proficiency If the dm allows multiclassing you gain proficiency in All Armor types and Shield
