She'enth-Kissed (3.5e Template)
From D&D Wiki
She'enth-Kissed Creature[edit]
Having witnessed the gifts Lolth gave her chosen few, the drow goddess of magic in the city of Dispato was not to be outdone. As such, she, too, has begun leaving her mark upon various creatures that catch her attention. Unlike the more martial creatures of the Spider Queen, however, She'enth's kiss bestows those so-blessed with a greater understanding of magic and the ability to shield themselves from scrying eyes.
(This is a variant of the Lolth-Touched template from Monster Manual IV.)
Creating a She'enth-Kissed Creature[edit]
"She'enth-kissed" is an acquired template that can be added to any corporeal living creature with the Fey type or Humanoid (Elven); (referred to hereafter as the base creature), with creatures that possess innate magical abilities being far more likely to be affected.
Abilities[edit]
Increase from the base creature as follows: Int +6, Cha +6.
Skills[edit]
A She'enth-kissed creature gains a +4 racial bonus on Use Magic Device checks, and Use Magic Device is always considered a class skill.
Feats[edit]
A She'enth-kissed creature gains a bonus item creation or metamagic feat at every 5 HD.
Special Qualities[edit]
A She'enth-kissed creature has all the special qualities of the base creature, plus the following special quality.
Veil of Secrecy (Su): A She'enth-kissed creature is immune to all divination spells cast in order to learn information about it or items in its possession. Such magic simply fails to reveal any information, or can be made to reveal false information similar to the spell false vision. Furthermore, the She'enth-kissed creature automatically becomes aware of any such attempt to observe them through magical means. If the caster fails on a passive caster level check (DC of 15 + the She'enth-kissed creature's HD), the She'enth-kissed creature learns their name, appearance, and general location of the caster who attempted the divination.
Challenge Rating[edit]
Same as the base creature +1.
Level Adjustment[edit]
+1
Alignment[edit]
The creature's alignment is usually chaotic and evil.
