“Shax, the Blood Marquis, is the demon lord of envy, lies, and sadistic murders. Shax’s capacity for cruelty is legendary even among the ranks of demon lords, and he takes extreme pleasure in watching the last light of hope fade from the eyes of his victims. He is the original creator of the babau demons, and those whom he personally flays and corrupts with Abyssal influence remain exemplars of their kind. Shax appears as a human man with a dove’s head, feet, and wings, carrying countless knives and other weapons all over his body. Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Legacy of the Bloody Marquis. You know the vicious mockery cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the hunter's mark spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast the invisibility spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Murderous Tongue. You have resistance to necrotic damage. You have proficiency with the Intimidation skill. If you are already proficient with this skill, you gain proficiency with another skill of your choice. This trait replaces the Hellish Resistance trait.
