Shared Spells [Coven]

Grant or receive spell slots between nearby coven members.
Prerequisite: Caster level 9th., Coven Initiate
Benefit: You can give or receive spell slots from other members of your coven. In order to do this, the donor and the recipient must both be within 30 feet of each other, and must perform a short ritual which takes 10 minutes. The donor may select any number of prepared spells or unused spell slots she has, which she then “gives” to the recipient. The donor expends all of those spells (or spell slots), and no longer has access to them. At the same time, the recipient gains a number of bonus spells per day of the same quantity and level as the ones the donor sacrificed. If the recipient is a spontaneous caster, these remain unused spell slots that she can use as normal. If the recipient must prepare her spells, she is able to immediately prepare spells in those spell slots as part of this ritual These bonus spell slots last until expended, or until the next time the recipient rests to recover spells, at which point they dissipate automatically. If the recipient would receive spells per day of a level she is unable to cast, those spells are wasted. For example, if a 9th-level sorcerer decided to sacrifice a 4th-level spell slot and two 3rd-level spell slots for his apprentice, a 5th-level wizard; the wizard could immediately prepare two new 3rd-level spells she knew, and would be able to cast those spells in addition to the spells she already had prepared. She would not be able to prepare a new 4th-level spell, because she can’t cast 4th-level spells.
