Shadowcaster (Plushie Substitution Level)
From D&D Wiki
Plushie Shadowcaster Substitution Levels[edit]
Note: Only Eijilund Plushies are eligible for these. Plushie Shadowcasters are quite rare, existing only in the darkest, dankest closets. While greatly frowned upon by more "civilized" creatures (and grown-ups), plushie shadowcasters, really don't give a damn, as long as someone will play tag with them.
Level | Base Attack Bonus |
Saving Throws | Special | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Fort | Ref | Will | |||
2nd | +1 | +3 | +0 | +3 | No Tag-Backs |
5th | +2 | +4 | +1 | +4 | BOOGIE WOOGIE BOOM!!! |
No Tag-Backs (Ex): Great masters of the game Tag (and little else), plushie shadowcasters are generally very good at dodging the tags of other players. At 2nd level, a plushie shadowcaster adds his Charisma modifier to his Armor Class, this applies even to touch attacks.
BOOGIE WOOGIE BOOM!!! (Sp): One of the more frightening aspects of plushie shadowcasters is their tendency to sneak up behind you, detonate, then disappear cackling into the shadows as your corpse smoulders. At 5th level, whenever the plushie shadowcaster uses its Go Boom ability, it may make a Hide check immediately afterwards, even if observed. Also, at 5th level and every fifth level beyond, the shadowcaster's Go Boom ability increases, dealing an additional 1d6 points of damage. This replaces the Sustaining Shadow ability at 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels.
