"Come out!"

Pel dodged into another alleyway as Roberts stormed after him. The bounty hunter didn't want to give up, and Pel didn't even have a bounty on him... worth much, in any case.

Pel heard the bounty hunter approaching swiftly, and he stepped into the deep shadows at the end of the alleyway, hands flying though the magical patterns. Roberts appeared at the entry of the alley way, loosing a crossbow bolt at him. It clattered into the brick wall as Pel vanished, fading into the shadows.

"Where did you go!?" Roberts cried, running down the in pursuit. He stopped in mid stride, though, as Pel stepped out of the shadows behind him and brought a wooden beam down on the bounty hunter's head.

Shadow step creates a sphere 80 feet in diameter around the caster. Within this sphere, the caster can move instantaneously from one shadow to another as a move action, provided that the shadow is deep enough to allow for partial concealment.

Special: When used, the caster reappears hidden, allowing for sneak attacks and the like.

GM Notes[edit]

This spell, related to Superposition, was created by Hex for Pel, our party's bard, who had an annoying habit of being cornered in dark alleyways.
