A translucent bead shoots from your hand to the indicated spot, bursting with a hiss. Superheated steam fills the area, dealing 15d6 fire damage to every creature in the area. A creature takes full damage from the steam unless it is wearing a necklace of adaption or is otherwise protected from contact with the steam, in which case it takes only half damage from the intense heat. The damage is repeated to every creature within the area of effect every round on the casters turn for the duration of the spell. Due to the superheated, translucent quality of the steam, creatures within the area of effect gain concealment (20% miss chance) within 5 feet. Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker can't use sight to locate the target).

Material Component: a small piece of coal (or igneous rock) and a drop of water.
