Sellsword (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Sellsword[edit]
A Sellsword is a mercenary who hires out his services to the highest bidder. Typically, this sort of lifestyle involves a great deal of violence and physical exertion. A rogue willing to risk his life for coin may become a Sellsword.
- Brutal Blows
When you choose this subclass at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in martial weapons. You can make a Sneak Attack using any weapon that you are proficient with that lacks the "heavy" property, even if it is not a finesse or ranged weapon.
- Fighting Style
Starting at 3rd level, you also adopt a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one fighting style from the list available to the fighter class. You can't take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again.
- Pay the Man
At 9th level, you have advantage on all ability checks you make involving negotiations for payment.
- Stealthy Soldier
At 13th level, you gain proficiency in shields and medium armor. In addition, armor that you are proficient with never causes you to have disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
- Coup d'grace
Beginning at 17th level, whenever you hit an enemy with less than half of its total hit points remaining, you gain deal an extra -weapon modifier- + half your level in Rogue in damage. If the creature drops to 0 hp or is killed outright, you gain advantage on the next attack you make before the end of your next turn.
