Seekersense (3.5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Seekersense [Psychic]
Prerequisite: Clairvoyance
Benefit: You can locate objects and creatures in a similar fashion to the locate object and locate creature spells, except that only magical means will block this power. A Search skill check is required. To locate an object, or a creature not trying to hide, the DC is 5: for creatures trying to evade detection (including creatures trying to hide or move quietly, even if they're unaware of the attempt to detect them by this means), the DC is 10 plus twice the creature's CR. Given sufficient time, it is possible to "take 20" on this check. The usual detection range is 100 yards: for every 5 points by which the Search result exceeds the minimum for the subject, the range is doubled. An excess of 20 points gives a range of one mile, 25 gives 2 miles, and so on.
Alternatively, you may, after one minute of meditation and a DC 20 Search check, use this to to emulate find the path. A failed check only takes 30 seconds.
