Scorned Accuser[edit]
This is a background based on Poor Man's Poison's song "Hell's Comin' With Me". In short, you grew up in a small town, in a small valley, in a small region. You had a rough life there speaking out against a black magician who ran the area and were beaten frequently until you decided to leave and swore to return for revenge. You returned years later, as you promised you were coming back to the town. Wrecking the place, burning their buildings, and hanging the black magician, the people were afraid. "I am the righteous hand of god, and I am the devil that you forgot. I told you 'One day you will see that I'll be back, I guarantee', and Hell's Comin' With Me."
However, after all of it ended... you didn't know what to do. Your revenge already completed, you wandered from town to town seeking something to make your life have a point again.
What reason do you find for living? Drink? Education? Perhaps justice, aiding others in the situation you were in?
Skill Proficiencies: You can choose two between: Insight, Intimidation, Perception, Survival
Tool Proficiencies: One tool or instrument of your choice.
Languages: One non-exotic language of your choice.
Equipment: One set of common clothes, a trinket from your hometown, 1d10 x 2gp, one simple weapon, and a cloak.
Feature: Vigilante[edit]
You've witnessed many crimes and wrongdoings in the backstreets of cities and know how to go about finding it. You can ask around and get basic information on crime organizations, underground rings, and black markets.
Alternate Feature: Crime Lord[edit]
You've witnessed many crimes and wrongdoings in the backstreets of cities and know how to go about finding it. You've turned it into an opportunity and gathered these pathetic lowlifes together into your own organization. You can get help from henchmen and find information through your networks given enough time and money.
