This cantrip has two main uses. The first is it can be used to start a fire, (campfire, fireplace, torch, etc) and the Second is to inflict fire damage upon a target. The caster must make a successful ranged touch attack, and if successful the target takes 1d3 hp Fire Damage.
If the object or target is wet or damp it will not burn or inflict damage. The Cantrip will ignite flammable liquids. If the flame hits particularly dry or readily flammable material the target may get a reflex save to put out the fire before it spreads, but this takes a full action.
The verbal component is a hissing sound made while the caster touches the object.
