Scapognathus is a small pterosaur that is found in misty mountain forests like the Shang Gen Jungle on Arkamata. These insectivorous flyers dart from tree to tree, snatching whatever prey may catch their eyes. Scapognathus is fairly skittish, normally fleeing from humanoids. The only times a Scapognathus will attack humanoids is if the humanoid gets too close to its nest, or if a shiny object moves too much, this will trigger a Scapognathus to start attacking the shiny object, as they think that it is a very large food source. This behavior is due to the fact that these guys normally see the reflections of fish scales or of gleaming insect carapaces. |
