Distress. When the ant takes damage all other savannah ants within 240 feet of it can sense its pain.

Innate Spellcasting (Psionics). The ant's innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no components:

At will: blade ward, dancing lights, detect thoughts, mage hand
1/day each: invisibility, mirror image

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The ant makes two attacks. Alternatively, it uses its Mind Flay and makes one attack.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the ant can't bite another target.

Mind Flay. The ant targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Intelligence saving throw or take 9 (2d8) psychic damage and be stunned until the end of its next turn.

Poison Breath (Recharge 5–6). The ant exhales poison in a 15-­foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw, taking 14 (4d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Queens ultimately evolve from the warriors and though they lose their thick armor they make up for that in potent psionic abilities to lead hundreds if not thousands of her savannah ant allies across the savage jungles and savannahs of the world.
