Sanity (Knowledge) (5e Skill)

Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: Why would being especially sane allow you to see through a trick or know what a monster might do next? Surely another skill like Insight would be more appropriate. 05:31, 17 May 2024 (MDT)

Knowledge[edit]

The Knowledge skill Involves someone's knowledge on what a monster is doing. A DM might call for this skill when:

  • preserving a trickster's trick from past experience.
  • seeing through illusions caused by monsters
  • knowing what a monster will do next by past experience.

The DM puts disadvantage if one of these things hasn't happened before, and advantage if done multiple times before.
