Class Skills (<-number of skill points-> + Str modifier or Con modifier per level, ×4 at 1st level)

<-class skills (and key abilities)->.

Ki Strike (1st Level):

Description: At 1st level, Saiyan Warriors gain the ability to infuse their unarmed strikes with ki energy, adding extra power to their attacks. Whenever a Saiyan Warrior makes an unarmed strike, they can choose to spend 1 ki point to enhance their strike. If they do, they add an additional 1d4 damage to the attack.

Ki Blast:

Costs 2 ki points. The Saiyan can unleash a ki blast as a ranged attack. Make a ranged touch attack against a single target within 40 feet. On a successful hit, the target takes energy damage equal to 1d4.

  • Ki Flight (Su):

At 2nd Level Saiyans possess the ability to harness their inner ki for sustained flight without a time limit. As a move action, a Saiyan can activate Ki Flight, expending ki points each round to remain aloft. The rate of ki point consumption depends on the character's level and chosen flight speed:

Flying at a speed of up to 5 feet (or 1 square) consumes ki points equal to half the character's level (rounded up). Flying at a speed of up to 10 feet (or 2 squares) consumes ki points equal to the character's level. Flying at a speed of up to 20 feet (or 4 squares) consumes ki points equal to 1.5 times the character's level (rounded up). Flying at a speed of up to 30 feet (or 6 squares) consumes ki points equal to twice the character's level. While using Ki Flight, Saiyans can engage in combat maneuvers, spellcasting, and other complex actions as normal. However, each round they engage in combat or use their abilities, they must expend an additional 3 ki points on top of the regular ki point cost for their chosen flight speed.

Ki Point System[edit]

Ki Point System (Su): Saiyans possess an inner reserve of ki energy that grows with their experience and power. Their ki point pool increases by 5 points every time they gain a character level, as shown in the progression below:

Level 1: 5 ki points Level 2: 10 ki points Level 3: 15 ki points Level 4: 20 ki points Level 5: 25 ki points Level 6: 30 ki points Level 7: 35 ki points Level 8: 40 ki points Level 9: 45 ki points Level 10 and beyond: The Saiyan gains an additional 5 ki points for every character level beyond level 10. Saiyans can recharge their ki points through the following methods:

Eating: A Saiyan can restore 1 ki point for every full meal they consume, and 2 ki points for a particularly nourishing meal. Sleeping: A full night's rest (8 hours) restores ki points equal to the character's level multiplied by 5.

Class Features[edit]

<-fluff about class features->. All of the following are class features of the <-Saiyan Warrior->.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: <-Weapon Proficiencies: Saiyan Warriors are masters of unarmed combat, relying on their physical prowess and the utilization of ki energy to unleash devastating attacks. Their primary form of combat is unarmed strikes. However, they also have the proficiency to use simple weapons when necessary, such as when they need to wield a weapon or prefer a different style of combat.

Unarmed Strikes: Saiyan Warriors are highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and can use their fists and kicks to deal damage effectively. They can enhance these strikes with their ki energy for added power.

Simple Weapons: In addition to their unarmed combat abilities, Saiyan Warriors are proficient in the use of simple weapons. This proficiency allows them to wield a variety of basic weapons if the situation demands it.

Armor Proficiencies: Saiyan Warriors are adaptable fighters who can wear medium and light armor to enhance their protection in battle without sacrificing their mobility.

Medium Armor: Saiyan Warriors can comfortably wear medium armor, such as chain shirts and breastplates. This provides them with moderate protection while allowing them to maintain their agility and mobility in combat.

Light Armor: Saiyan Warriors are also proficient in light armor, including leather armor and studded leather. Light armor offers them some protection without hindering their movement.->.
