Sacrificer[edit]

Warlock Subclass

Unlike typical Warlock patrons, yours is not a deity demanding servitude. Instead, it is akin to a friend, offering assistance only when blood is spilled. This unique connection binds you to a powerful devil companion, a camaraderie forged in shared sacrifices and moments of intense resolve. The patron willingly stays close, ever ready to lend its strength when the price of blood is paid.

Friendly Patron

Starting at 1st Level you have formed a unique bond with a powerful devil, who willingly stays close to you. This patron cannot move further than 15 feet away from you. As an action on your turn, you can share your senses with your patron, seeing through its eyes and hearing through its ears. While doing so, your physical body becomes limp and unconscious. Additionally, when your patron is within 5 feet of you, you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to search for items.

Unwanted Sacrifice Also starting at 1st Level as a bonus action on your turn, you can choose to sacrifice a portion of your soul to your patron for power. You take damage equal to 25% of your total hit points (rounded up) and regain one expended spell slot. If you drop to zero hit points using this ability while at 25% or less of your maximum hit points, you can't be healed until the end of your next turn and automatically fail your first two death saving throws.

Bloody Luck You gain the ability to sacrifice parts of yourself to manipulate fate. As a reaction to failing an ability check, saving throw, or attack roll, you can choose to add a d6 to the roll. You then take damage equal to the total roll minus 2 (maximum 20 damage).

True Sacrifice At 18th level, you can perform a true sacrifice to gain unimaginable power. The body parts you sacrifice determine the effect: Hand: Sacrificing a hand grants you proficiency in a skill of your choice, the ability to cast Mage Hand at will, or the option to learn a new language.

Tongue: Sacrificing your tongue enhances your persuasive abilities, providing advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks, the ability to cast Charm Person once per long rest without expending a spell slot, or the choice to gain expertise in a Charisma-based skill.

Heart: Sacrificing your heart is an incredibly risky move. It allows you to reroll any saving throw once per long rest, grants advantage on death saving throws, or lets you cast a spell of 7th level or lower without expending a spell slot.

Skin: Sacrificing a patch of skin grants you resistance to a damage type of your choice, the ability to cast Armor of Agathys once per long rest without expending a spell slot, or the option to gain a natural armor bonus to your AC.

Voice: Sacrificing your voice enhances your magical prowess. You gain advantage on spell attack rolls, the ability to cast Disguise Self at will, or the choice to add your Charisma modifier to your spell damage rolls.

Bone: Sacrificing a bone increases your resilience. You gain advantage on Constitution saving throws, the ability to cast Stoneskin once per long rest without expending a spell slot, or the option to increase your maximum hit points.
