Placed on an inanimate object, this rune vaguely resembles a dragon's head. When activated by touch, a 30 foot cone of fire erupts from the rune, dealing 10d10 points of damage to all targets within the cone, even if that includes the caster.
Objects within the rune that can catch flame or burn are set on fire and are dealt according damage, bypassing any hardness. Should the object reach a broken state because of this, it is turned to ashes, from which are easily scattered by the wind. If the objects are metal, they take half as much damage, and the flames do not bypass the hardness.
Creatures within the flame may make a reflex save for half damage, as well as saving any objects within their possession from damage, the DC being equal to the rune's DC. Objects within the flame may make a fortitude save for half damage, with a DC 17 (this DC is fixed).
