The famed monster hunter van Richten is one of the greatest heroes of the Land of the Mists. Know more for his keen mind and wits than his skill with spell or steel, van Richten wrote nine books on monsters that plague his land, teaching future generations of monster hunters. A 5e stat block for van Richten can be found in Curse of Strahd, which presents the doctor as a cleric. The version in this book emulates his original 2e appearance as a rogue. |
