Rubble coyote

The rubble coyote is a timid scavenger living in the harshest environments of remote mountains and hills. Its main diet is carcasses that other scavengers have abandoned. It can also eat roots, berries, grain, or insects. When a rubble coyote is injured, scratches or wounds heal with no fur. Adults look patchy and scarred.
A rubble coyote can be tamed with caution and patience. When captured or rescued, one of any age will look for any opportunity to attack and make an escape. The creature attempting to tame it must be careful not to injure the coyote, or that fear will increase. The tamer must also feed it regularly for four to eight months to gain its trust. Once a rubble coyote trusts a tamer, it becomes a devoted companion. It will accompany, learn, and obey its new protector. in rare cases, the rubble coyote may even fight for the benefit of its protector.
