Royalist (5e Race)
Royalist[edit]
- "The realm is our legacy, and its splendor is eternal."*
Physical Description[edit]
Royalists possess an ethereal elegance, their features refined to near perfection. Their skin is smooth, almost porcelain-like, with an unnatural radiance that suggests an origin beyond mere mortality. Their eyes shimmer with a faint, regal glow, and their hair, often silver, gold, or deep midnight, flows effortlessly. Despite their noble appearance, Royalists are not inherently divine—rather, they are the remnants of an ancient, forgotten monarchy, their power woven into the very fabric of reality.
History[edit]
The Royalists were once the rulers of a grand celestial empire, their palaces stretching beyond the mortal realms. Through ancient magics, they forged a domain that defied time, allowing them to sustain their courts eternally. However, the empire fell, its name lost to history, yet its people endured. The Royalists now wander the world, carrying with them the grandeur of their forgotten kingdom, seeking to reclaim what was once theirs or create new realms in their image.
Society[edit]
Royalists live by an unshakable belief in their own sovereignty. Even those who find themselves in adventuring parties or common settlements maintain an air of majesty. Their societies are structured around elaborate courts, where influence is dictated by one’s ability to maintain an eternal estate. Despite their displacement, Royalists always carry the traditions of their empire, treating every gathering as an extension of their lost dominion.
Royalist Names[edit]
Royalist names carry echoes of their former grandeur. Their first names are often melodic and stately, while their surnames are remnants of their noble houses.
Male: Alistair, Veylian, Xalador, Lucien, Ormont Female: Seraphina, Isolde, Valeria, Zephyria, Lirielle
