Swordsman that wield three swords in each hand.

Making a Roku Ken Masutā[edit]

These warriors are strong and fast. They have an amazing finger strength that allow them to wield three swords in each hand.

Abilities: Wisdom, Dexterity, and Constitution are key to this classes survival.

Races: Any race with a warrior caste.

Alignment: Any.

Starting Gold: Same as fighter.

Starting Age: Same as fighter

Class Features[edit]

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Roku Ken Masuta is proficient in any single handed weapon with the sword descriptor. They are only proficient in cloth or light armor.

Roku Kenjitsu: This is the Six Sword Style as a novice the user of this technique is can wield the six swords( three swords in each hand), however as a novice the damage of the weapons are reduced by four dice sizes( ex: 6 katanas normally deal 1d10 each as a novice they deal 1d4 each). This also gives access to the novice level techniques. Every 5th level after the first is increases the level of mastery of this style increases the dice size of the weapon as well as give access to higher level techniques.

Ki Strike: The user attacks are considered touch attacks and can be treated as a ranged touch attack where the range of the weapons are considered 10ft per class level.

AC Bonus: While wearing light or cloth armor the Masuta may add their Wisdom mod to their AC as deflection bonus, this bonus is applied even when flat-footed however it is lost in situations that deny Dex mod.

Ambidextrous:This skill allows the Masuta to wield a weapon with the no penalty for using a weapon in the off-hand as both hands are considered primary.

Ki Pool:This is the pool for which the Masuta stores Ki to spend on the techniques that their Roku Kenjitsu level gives them access to. The Masuta may add their Wisdom mod + Constitution mod each level as bonus Ki.

Essence Awakened: The Masuta is able to awaken the hidden power of the blades they wield, Starting at 2nd level you will be able to add an energy type to a blade as additional damage, you will roll a d6 to determine the energy type that is added. You will repeat this process at levels 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12, after the first time if you roll the same energy type as before the roll will be replaced with re-roll and if you roll the same choose energy type.

  • 1: add a d6 fire damage per level to your attack(max 10d6).
  • 2: add a d6 cold damage per level to your attack(max 10d6).
  • 3: add a d6 electric damage per level to your attack(max 10d6).
  • 4: add a d6 acid damage per level to your attack(max 10d6).
  • 5: add a d6 positive/negative damage per level to your attack(max 10d6).
  • 6: add a d6 force damage per level to your attack(max 10d6).

Essence Strike: When ever you awaken a new essence of your blade you learn to harness the a full power of the essence to unleash a shock-wave made of that essence as an alternative attack. This shock-wave is a 30ft line touch attack, that damages every target within the range, dealing your max energy damage, Reflex save DC 15 + class level + wisdom mod for half damage. This attack can be mixed with normal or other essence strikes dependent on number of attacks you get based on BAB.
