Innate Spellcasting. The Robot Overlord's innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 21, +13 to hit with spell attacks). The Robot Overlord can innately cast the following spells, requiring no components:

At will: detect magic, identify, levitate, mage hand

3/day each: confusion, dominate person, hold monster, suggestion

1/day each: feeblemind, dominate monster, mind blank

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The Robot Overlord makes three melee attacks.

Crushing Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 36 (6d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

Laser Beam. Ranged Spell Attack: +13 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 45 (10d8) radiant damage.

Electrostatic Pulse. The Robot Overlord unleashes a pulse of electricity in a 30-foot radius around it. Each creature within the area must make a DC 24 Dexterity saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

LEGENDARY ACTIONS

The Robot Overlord can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Robot Overlord regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Crushing Stomp. The Robot Overlord stomps the ground, causing a shockwave in a 20-foot radius around it. Each creature in that area must make a DC 24 Strength saving throw, taking 28 (4d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Force Shield. The Robot Overlord raises a shield of force, gaining resistance to all damage until the end of its next turn.

Mind Control. The Robot Overlord chooses one creature it can see within 120 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by the Robot Overlord until the end of the Robot Overlord's next turn. The charmed target obeys the Robot Overlord's commands, and the Robot Overlord can issue commands as a bonus action on its turn.

The Robot Overlord towers over most creatures, standing at over 10 feet tall. Its body is composed of gleaming, adamantine plates that protect its internal components. Its arms end in massive, crushing fists, capable of delivering devastating blows to any who oppose it. The Robot Overlord's face is a blank, featureless metal visage, save for two glowing red eyes that seem to bore into the souls of those who look upon it. The creature emits a constant hum, as if its very presence is charged with energy.

The motivations of a Robot Overlord can vary depending on who created it and programmed it. Some Robot Overlords may have been created to serve a specific purpose, such as protecting a city or guarding a valuable object. Others may have been programmed with a more general directive, such as seeking out and destroying any potential threats to its creators or to its own existence. Regardless of its specific motivations, the Robot Overlord is a highly intelligent and strategic creature, capable of making complex decisions and adapting to changing circumstances in order to achieve its goals.
