Risen Aasimar (5e Subrace)
From D&D Wiki
Risen Aasimar[edit]
Among the aasimar, some are born of fallen outsiders of the Celestial Realm. While outsiders are exempt from resurrection due to their souls and body fading together upon death, their spectral essence is merely dispersed into ethereal material that is often too thin to amalgamate into anything. On rare occasions though, fallen archons, planetars, and the like create enough of a glut of celestial soul fragments to grant birth to an aasimar among mortals.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Bloodline Empowerment. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unlock the celestial soul essence inside yourself briefly, giving your form that of pure light.
Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. All damage you deal by attacks or spells deal radiant damage instead of their normal damage type. In addition, you are immune to difficult terrain.
Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
