Vanometric Charging. Unless connected to a mechinator, scythers passively recharge their internal batteries, removing their need to rest or manually recharge.

EMP Adaptation. Whenever a scyther is hit by lightning damage, it must make a DC 20 constitution saving throw or be stunned for 1d4 rounds. If a scyther becomes stunned, the DC saving throw is decreased by 1 if they get hit by lightning damage again. If a scyther succeeds any constitution saving throw, it is immune from being stunned for 8 hours

Bandwidth. The scyther can be controlled by a mechinator at the cost of 2 bandwidth. Once controlled, its alignment switches to the alignment of its mechinator and will listen to any commands given to it by said mechanitor

Multi Attack. Due to having 2 scythes, the scyther is able to make 2 attacks on its turn

ACTIONS

Scythe. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (1d12+7) slashing damage.


Fast, spindly, human-sized combat mechanoids specializing in rapid approach and close-range combat. Their bodies are covered in points and blades, but they mostly use their two arm blades to lop off limbs or gut their victims alive. Scythers have no fear for their life, and will charge directly at colonists without regard to cover. Scythers are dangerous melee fighters; they deal significant melee damage while forcing your gunners into melee combat. Usually, a 1v1 fight with a scyther and a gunner will result in the scyther emerging victorious. Melee fighters are essential in guarding against scythers, being able to 'peel' them off from more vulnerable allies. Even then, a scyther's blades can often result in permanent scars and even cut off limbs.
