A single creature or item with a different form than normal is forced back into their natural form. This includes a Doppelganger's shapechange ability, a Druid's Wildshape ability, or the effects of spells such as alter self or ironwood.
Creatures with 3 or less HD receive no save, creatures with 1/2+1 Caster level HD receive a Will save to negate. Creatures with higher HD are unaffected.
Unattended items receive no save, attended (or intelligent) items receive their owner's Will save to negate.
Spells make opposed caster level checks.
Return form has no effect on a Chaos Beast.
Lycanthropy is a natural form, and is unaffected by the spell.
Components: A miniature wooden house costing 10gp, a miniature hammer, and a stick.
