Resistance Substitution

Change your innate resistance to that of a different type of energy.
Prerequisite: Any Arcane, a racial, feat-based, or class-based energy resistance
Benefit: When you choose this feat, choose an energy type: acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, psychic, necrotic, radiant, or thunder. As a free action once per day, you may change the energy type of your resistance to the chosen energy type until the end of the encounter of for 5 minutes (whichever ends first). For example, Xyrio is a 6th level Tiefling Wizard who has chosen Cold as the chosen energy type for this feat. Once per day as a free action, he may change his racial fire resistance (total of 8 at his level) to resist cold 8.
Special: You may select this feat multiple times, if you do, select a different energy type. You may change your energy resistance to those chosen types once each per day, and change your energy resistance to the first chosen type once per day. For instance, If Xyrio, the 6th level Tiefling Wizard selected Resistance Substitution: Cold and Resistance Substitution: Necrotic, he could change his racial resistance to cold as a free action once per day, then change his racial resistance to necrotic in the same day. He could not, however, change his racial resistance to cold twice per day or change his racial resistance to necrotic twice per day as a result of this feat.
