Requiem of the Undying (3.5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Requiem of the Undying [General]
Upon death, you enter a skeletal form that grants temporary immunity to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage while imposing significant weaknesses to other damage types.
Prerequisite: 3 levels in Devout Vessel, Devout Leader, or a Vessel Magic-related class
Benefit: When you would normally die, you transform into a skeletal version of yourself with half your maximum hit points. In this form, you gain immunity to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage but take double damage from all other damage types. You cannot use any non-Vessel-related abilities while in this form.
If you die in this skeletal form, you die permanently. Additionally, you are unfazed by the effects of dying multiple times, but any healing factor or limb/body part regeneration associated with Vessel abilities is negated. You turn to dust the moment you hit 0 hit points in this form.
Normal: Without this feat, characters who die cannot assume a temporary form and face the normal consequences of death.
Special: You can only be revived from this skeletal form with True Resurrection or other Vessel-related abilities that specifically allow for it.
