Quietly lumbering towards you is a gigantic, bipedal crocodile of about 11 feet. Its thick hide changes colors to blend in with the land behind it.

Reptoids are known across the planes as some of the best hunters in existence. They always hunt alone, revering the Hunt almost as a religion. Reptoids generally prefer not to share the honor of hunting with anyone else. Reptoids speak Celestial and Sylvan.

Combat:[edit]

Reptoids prefer to attack by stealth rather than brute force, quite an odd tactic for a giant. However, they are skilled at this because of their ability to change color like a chameleon.

Chameleon Power (Sp): A reptoid can psionically change the coloration of itself and its equipment to match its surroundings, granting it a +10 circumstance bonus on Hide checks. This ability is useable at will.

Reptoid Community:[edit]

Reptoid community is based of small tribes, the leader of which is the one who is the best hunter, and is usually a ranger. This leader must prove himself by accomplishing a miraculous feat of courage, often including singlehandedly slaying a dragon or killing a troll with only one's bare hands.

Occasionally neigboring tribes will have turf wars over hunting grounds, but this is very rare.

A reptoid's favored class is ranger. A reptoid's ECL is equal to his class levels + 12
