Renegade[edit]

Rogue Subclass

A special kind of rogue, dissatisfied with the established order looking to . . . change the balance of power through a more direct approach.

Bonus Proficiencies

You gain proficiency in Martial ranged weapons.

Brazen Attack

Starting at 3rd level, immediately after you deal your Sneak Attack damage to a creature on your turn, you can use a bonus action to target a second creature that you can see within 30 feet of the first target, and within range of your weapon. If your attack roll would hit that creature as well, the target does not take damage as normal, instead roll half the number of Sneak Attack dice for your level (round up), and the second creature takes damage equal to the roll’s total, which is the same type your weapon would deal.

I Have Ways...

Starting at 9th level, outside of magical interference, you always know what year, month, week, day, and time it is down to the minute. Additionally, if you are trying to get information out of a creature, you can choose to roll a Wisdom (Medicine), Charisma (Intimidation), or a Charisma (Persuasion) check and spend at least 10 minutes to attempt to extract the information out of them. At the end of the extraction, the creature must make a Constitution (for medicine) or Charisma (for intimidation or persuasion) saving throw, with the DC equal to the result of your ability check. On a failure, you gain the information you need. On a success, the creature is immune to this feature for 24 hours.

Sadistic Precision

Starting at 13th level, if two creatures take damage when you use Brazen Attack, each target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + Dexterity modifier + proficiency bonus), or be frightened of you until the start of your next turn.

Ends Justify Means

Starting at 17th level, if two creatures take damage when you use Brazen Attack, each target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + Dexterity modifier + proficiency bonus), or be paralyzed until the end of your next turn, being poisoned for 1 minute on a success.
