Religion of Vesuix[edit]

There are many different gods in the world of Vesuix, but the three creators are arguably the most important.

Gods[edit]

Eura[edit]

(Pronounced ew-rah)

Domains: Life, Forge.

The creator of all life on Vesuix, Eura first made humanity in the great Forge of Life, using clay from a riverbed to create the forge and the creations made in it, and the heat from the sun to power it. Eura subsequently created thousands of other creatures, many of them based on the original model.

God of creation and life. Neutral. The symbol is a circle with a thin line piercing through it vertically.

Daiugn[edit]

(Pronounced day-un)

Domain: Light

Creator of the sky, the stars, and all celestial bodies, Daiugn has domain over it all. She often appears as a woman with dark, star-speckled skin.

Goddess of the sun and sky. Neutral Good.

Ahkau[edit]

(Pronounced uh-cow)

Domain: Nature

Creator of the world of Vesuix, Ahkau made it for his fellow gods to inhabit. His skin appears to be packed earth, with his hair the thick, braided roots of an old, gnarled tree, and his eyes perfect emeralds.

God of agriculture and the earth. Neutral Good.

Musea[edit]

(Pronounced muse-uh)

Domain: Knowledge

The patron of all magical creatures and magic, Musea created music and spread it to her followers through her angels and priests. She appears in many forms, but she always has eyes that look like copper, one being heavily oxidized.

Goddess of magic and music. Chaotic Good.

Lenyren[edit]

(Pronounced len-ren)

Domains: Death, Grave

Lenyren controls the underworld, or the afterlife. All creatures end up there eventually, and so he encourages life to continue. He appears as a dark-skinned youth, with medium-length curly hair. He wears a dark chiton and lace-up sandals.

God of death and the peaceful rest. Lawful Neutral.

Ether[edit]

Domain: Tempest

Ether has historically been a worker, messenger, and mediator for the gods and mortals. He is the sea and the storms, letting divine will reign upon the people. Prayers to him about the sea often express negative wishes: that he may not wreck a ship or cause a storm. He often takes the form of a bird made out of trailing ribbons.

God of the sea and air. Lawful Neutral. His symbol is a jade bird, with silk ribbons trailing off of it.

Abiso[edit]

(Pronounced ab-e-so)

Domain: Trickery

Forever making jokes, doing pranks, and changing, Abiso spends his time stealing, lying, and playing tricks. He is possibly the god with the most demigod children. He's always slightly serpentine in humanoid form, and takes on the form of a gold and green serpent.

God of change, luck, and lies. Chaotic Neutral. His symbol is a serpent in a circle, sometimes intertwining itself. It's often a pendant or earrings.

Astri[edit]

(Pronounced as-tree)

Domains: Life, Unity, and Trickery.

Astri is yet another trickery god, often represented without gender, as love and life are genderless concepts. Married to Abiso.

God of love. Chaotic Good.
