From D&D Wiki
Ravenclaw[edit]
Wizard School
Founded by the witch Rowena Ravenclaw's as a house in the wizarding school of Hogwarts, this arcane tradition values study, learning and intellect above anything else. Students of this school are guided by the motto wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure, and his wizards are known for being cloistered and weird, but also for having a extremely high intellect.
They tend to don clothes that bear the colors of the house - blue and bronze - and often disregard appearances, opting instead for practicality.
- Arcane Repository
Starting when you choose this school at 2nd level, you gain the ability to learn magic faster than most creatures. You gain the following benefits:
- You can copy a spell on your spellbook by spending 1 hour per level of the spell.
- You only spend 30 minutes per level of the spell to copy a spell when replacing your book.
- When you change your list of prepared spells during a long rest, 1 minute per spell, regardless of its level.
- Encyclopedic Memory
At 2nd level, you are a primorous student, able to absorb and retain knowledge like no one else. If you spend at least 1 minute reading something, you can recall any information contained inside that book perfectly at any point in the future, without requiring any check.
In addition, you gain proficiency with Arcana, or expertise if you are already proficient.
- Magical Prodigy
At 6th level, you can adapt your strategy on the fly, quickly remembering spell formulas. You can cast any spell you know, even though it is not prepared, of 2nd-level or lower, without spending spell slots.
Alternatively, you can cast a spell as if the spell was cast using a slot two levels higher.
Once you use this feature, you can't do it again until you finish a short or a long rest.
- Bookworm
At 10th level, you have great ability to research and find information in books. You have advantage on Intelligence checks made to find information on books or find the correct book in a library.
In addition, you add your proficiency bonus to the maximum amount of spells you are able to prepare at the end of a long rest.
- Secret Arcana
At 14th level, you learn a secret arcana. A secret arcana is a spell of 7th level or lower, from any spell list. You can cast your secret arcana once, without spending a spell slot, and aren't able to do it again until you complete a long rest.
