Construct Doll[edit]

The mage walked into the room. The brown walls were covered in drawers and unfinished projects. But the only thing he was looking at was the ramshackle human sized doll in front of him. He touched the doll's head and muttered words of a strange, otherworldly language and a purple lightning spread across the doll's body. It looked up and said:"Why, Jonathan, it's been a long time." Jonathan looked at it and smiled. "We've got some work to do."

Physical Description[edit]

Construct dolls are human-sized dolls that vary largely from one to the other. They can be ogre-sized, and can have any modification, such as wings, extra arms, or extra legs, depending on their creator's will. They can cast spells, and they are always hard to kill, as they are made of metal and rags for the most part. They often have a power source such as an electrical line or a magical engine. These power sources in which the doll draws life from can be damaged and/or destroyed, either killing the doll or leaving it vulnerable if damaged.

History[edit]

Construct dolls are constructs created by powerful artificers or wizards that are created for any purpose. They could have broken free of their slavery in your world, or perhaps they are secret operatives for an organization. Some are like golems, while others resemble modrons. However, they are always an interesting and eccentric race in any d&d world.

Society[edit]

Being a servant race, construct dolls don't have much of a society, but in world where they are free they operate in an organized, everyone-has-their-purpose manner. They interact with other races to study them or to immerse themselves in their society, as they are often very curious.

Construct Doll Names[edit]

Construct Dolls have varying names, but most are simple and to the point. They have no genders, so they only use one type of name.

Construct Doll Ash, Cabe, Axel, Bit, Ranger, Geno, Scrappie, Cyd, Qwerty,Talus, Tinker, Oro...
